From Ponce, Puerto Rico, Kerwin Betancourt is an incoming senior at Elgin High School interested in pursuing sports media, journalism, and broadcasting. Over the past several years, Kerwin has contributed to esports as a competitor, commentator, and production team member. Through those experiences, he has developed skills in communication, audience engagement, live stream production, leadership, and digital media. Kerwin is passionate about telling stories through broadcasting and hopes to pursue a career in sports media and journalism.
